School of the Arts & Humanities Community: I am proud to introduce the A&H newsletter which is centered on news and information about the School of the Arts and Humanities, its faculty and students. We are launching this at a time when classes are online and events on campus have been canceled, a reality to which we all quickly adapted.
Our newsletter is less about reporting what we are all doing, such as reading Albert Camus’s The Plague , Thomas Mann’s Death in Venice , and Susan Sontag’s Illness as Metaphor, but rather about how we as a school teach and research, how our students learn, take and pass exams, in addition to keeping you informed about any upcoming events. Please enjoy this issue and I look forward to reading more about our great school in the months to come.
