The School of Arts & Humanities is pleased to announce the winners of the annual awards which honor outstanding teaching and staff proficiency. The Jo Ellen Roach Staff Member of the Year is Dena Davis, who was recognized for maintaining the highest level of knowledge, confidence and professionalism throughout the pandemic and amidst significant changes in the A&H office. The Victor Worsfold Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year is Dr. Anne Gray Fischer whose classroom is the model for an empathetic and inclusive learning environment. The Victor Worsfold Teaching Assistant of the Year is Brecken Hunter Wellborn who maintains a rigorous research schedule while remaining dedicated to the students and the class where he serves as TA.
