Power Up Your Fun with the Games and Media Library

Calling all gamers! Have you explored our unique Games and Media Library (GML)

Situated on the 3rd floor of the Edith O’Donnell Arts and Technology Building, the Bass School’s GML boasts over 600 games – both board and virtual, movies, TV shows, and books, all free for students’ access for leisure or research purposes. 

The GML features a fully functioning array of historic consoles, from the late ’70s Atari 2600 to the newest virtual reality systems, in a state-of-the-art facility with various screens and surround sound, allowing maximum enjoyability. The catalog includes current and retro PC games and a wide selection of popular media in the late ’90s and 2000s, such as Nintendo 64, Nintendo GameCube, Sega Dreamcast, and PlayStation 2 and 3 (complete list below). 

During open hours, students can drop in and play any available game. Moreover, the GML is open for reservations. Groups or organizations interested in making a reservation can email techresources@utdallas.edu with event details at least two weeks in advance.
