Ashley Rasco
“Ashley Rasco (Fall 2019) wrote a great analysis of the history of women’s roles in horror films, especially since the 1970s. Remarkably, Ashley didn’t have the benefit of a class on horror during her time as a student. Her project evolved out of her own interests, and she used the analytical, research, and writing skills gained in classes on other topics. The result was a very strong paper, which makes bold claims about gender and horror. Adrienne (Professor McLean) and I were both very proud of her. “
