Five students in the fall semester of the Contemporary Art Practices class have had their work published in the online art journal Swifts & Slows out of New York. According to A&H lecturer Colette Copeland, Swifts & Slows typically features only published/exhibited artists, authors, playwrights, and musicians. “I’m thrilled that the students have the opportunity to have their work published alongside such esteemed creatives,” Copeland said. She said the editor contacted her after seeing one of her posts about the students’ collaborative fluxus projects. Swifts & Slows focuses on creative collaborations.
The five students whose projects were selected to be included in the December issue are Rahul Mandalia, Eva Rahman, Brittany Rupert, Thi Phan, and Laura Cristina Vargas Ortiz.
