Musica Nova, the UT Dallas’ premiere instrumental ensemble, performed their Fall concert “An Evening in Paris,” at University Theatre on Dec. 1.
The performance, directed by Dr. Robert Xavier Rodríguez, professor of music and chair in Art and Aesthetic Studies, featured 16 student musicians and two guest artists. (lineup below)
Musica Nova is the Advanced Orchestra/Chamber Music Ensemble, which performs orchestral and chamber music of all periods. Aspiring musicians of all disciplines, undergraduate and graduate, must audition for a spot in the ensemble.
