Veteran animator, artist, and director Tod Polson hosted two lectures for UT Dallas Animation & Games students on Sept. 28.

Polson, who has worked in more than a dozen 2D animation projects since the mid-nineties, spoke about his early career, his short film “21 Martyrs,” his book “The Noble Approach,” and the recent impact of artificial intelligence in producing animated content.

He currently serves as creative director of Igloo Studio and has held diverse positions, such as animation art director and production supervisor, helping supervise and develop in-house animation projects.

The Bass School’s Animation and Games faculty invited Bolson to lead two Storyboarding classes at Cintiq Lab (ATC 3.605) in the Edith O’Donnell Arts and Technology Building.
