Sculpture

Develop your creative vision and master the technical skills needed to bring your three-dimensional ideas to life.

The Sculpture program at UT Dallas challenges students to think critically about the materials and processes used in three-dimensional art-making. Through courses like Figure Sculpture (ARTS 3378), students engage in hands-on investigations, tackling creative problems such as designing innovative structures or reimagining the relationship between nature and art. The program encourages students to experiment with various materials and techniques while considering both the functionality and cultural relevance of their work. With a focus on conceptual development and historical context, students refine their sculptural skills while exploring new ways to express their ideas in space.
