About this Venue

University Theatre is a 275-seat raked auditorium located just outside the Erik Jonsson Academic Center (JO). It features a 40-by-40-foot stage with configurable walls that support both traditional and experimental performance formats. The entrance to the theatre faces east and is accessible only from the exterior. It cannot be accessed from inside the JO building. The Box Office is located to the left of the main entrance.

About this Venue

Jonsson Performance Hall is a 196-seat venue on the ground floor (second level) of the Erik Jonsson Academic Center (JO). It features a concert ensemble stage for recitals, public performances, and more. The hall is accessible from both the north and south exterior entrances, as well as from inside the JO building.

About this Venue

The Edith O’Donnell Arts and Technology Building (ATC) is a 155,000-square-foot facility designed by STUDIOS Architecture – the same firm behind the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California. It houses state-of-the-art spaces for the Bass School’s programs. The building’s ATC Lecture Hall is a 1,200-seat venue equipped with a 4K laser projector, a 48-foot projection screen, and a 7.1 immersive audio system. This specialty space has the largest seating capacity on campus and hosts special guests, performances, talks and University gatherings.

About this Venue

SP/N Gallery is a 6,000-square-foot exhibition complex located just west of the UTD Testing Center. It includes two conjoined galleries, two project rooms, a reception area, an office, and a prep space. The gallery serves as the home of the Comer Collection of Photography and regularly features student and curated exhibitions. The main entrance faces south.

Parking Instructions

Some events may have special parking exemptions arranged by the Bass Events Team. If no exemption has been provided, follow the policies below. Many visitors prefer metered parking.

Note: There are no longer any Green parking spaces inside campus parking garages. Green spaces are now located only in surface lots and are marked by green-painted lines. Visitors should avoid parking in Purple, Orange, or Gold spaces unless they have a valid permit matching that color or a special parking exemption. In the garages, the Purple, Orange, and Gold spaces are identified by the color of the overhead lighting above each space. Blue spaces are for Accessible parking only.

Weekend Parking

You may park in green parking spaces after 5 p.m. on Fridays, or any time on Saturday or Sunday. All other parking is enforced, even after business hours and on weekends.

Weekday Parking

If the event is before 5 p.m. on Friday, or any time Monday – Thursday, you must obtain a visitor pass to park in the Green spaces.

Available on the first floor of every parking garage at a kiosk (credit/debit only). Parking structures 3 and 1 are the most convenient for our events. Parking Structure 3 (PS3) is on the northern portion of campus. Parking Structure 1 (PS1) is on the southern portion of campus.
